I think its very different of press issue but I like to read...

I have been a subscriber of American Photo since its inception. It provides serious and pro photographers the right balance and level of scope of articles on professional photographers, equipment, techniques and the industry. I am very pleased with my digital subscription. It was well designed for the iPad and the images are stunning on the gen3 iPad retina screen. I will be continuing with my digital subscription in the future.

I found this magazine original and amazing interesting. Anyway in my opinion it could be more technical...since its a important window on what happens on the other side of the oceans!

The app keeps on crashing after I upgraded to iOS 8,please fix it!

This is a great example of how to translate material from a print magazine into an elegant and user-friendly iPad reading experience. The visual elements and pictures are stunning! You dont need to be a photo enthusiast to appreciate and enjoy the pictures and the contents; it is exciting visual stimulation for anyone. Great job!

Ive read AP for a few years now, and have always liked their content. However, this app is somewhat disappointing in its presentation. The photos look ok on the retina display of the new ipad but you cannot zoom into it to see any more detail. You can double tap the photos to fill the screen but photos are no longer sharp and are starting to pixelize. The text is pixelated and thats a real issue for me. No options for enlarging the text to make readability more comfortable. Ive already subscribed for a year and Im kinda regretting it because there are apps that present the same content better.

Not sure how to rate this. I was charged an auto renewal fee of $1.99, but there was no new issue available. Why was I charged?

I am having the same problem, went to install, charged me 1.99, and now I cant find the magazine anymore. Just keeps telling me its already installed, where?

Updated my iOS and for the second time wiped out magazines. The first time they reloaded my magazines after many emails. This time they say they cannot! So now they have my money and I have no magazines! WTH! Will never use or purchase from again. For now on not using news stand or magplus...only direct apps.

American Photo is the best photography magazine produced in the USA.

Really like AmericanPhoto. I have been a subscriber for the past ten years! I still havent received the latest digital edition! I would hate to have to go out and purchase the latest edition, especially since I purchased a digital edition!

As a long time subscriber to the paper edition, I paid the fee to get the digital edition though its mostly the same thing. I havent been happy with this app though. It seems you constantly have to log in. Navigation of the magazine itself is fine, but getting the magazines is less than intuitive. I hope theres ann update to the app soon to address this issue.

I love this magazine, and the photos look great on the iPad.

I love American Photo, but the digital interface feels clunky to me. Especially in the gallery portions of articles. The app doesnt lock the aspect ratio of pics in accordance with the iPad orientation, so you often cant see the whole image. Im a subscriber though and like the mag enough to where Ill just hope the app gets better.

No more paper waste. I do like the idea and look of printed media but this is a great substitute.

Having the same problem as many others. My issues have disappeared, do not restore even though the app says they do. Id like my magazines or my money back.

This app tries to be too much. It cannot keep up with its own gestures even on a 4th gen iPad. Its too hard to find content that is hidden. I dont want to play hide and seek, I just want to see great photos. Many time you perform a proper gesture and nothing happens the when you move on it bounces back to previous gesture.

Quite possibly the worst magazine user interface on the app store. Text does not resolve. Images are intended to display in an artful way, but can be hard to display. Text overlays images and is supposed to swipe away, but you end up going to an adjacent page. The entire magazine experience is an exercise in frustration.
